Bulldog Group, which includes Bulldog Abrasives, RSB Auto and Industrial and Your Equipment Supplier (YES) recently launched a social soccer team.
The first practice session of the year kicked off with 26 participants showing up to enjoy a morning of lively soccer practice. The session was held at the Old Parks Sports Club in Johannesburg. The team will continue to practice and will shortly have the opportunity to face off against another corporate soccer team.
This forms part of a greater social group that was started for employees to interact on a social level outside of work and participate in various activities and promote a healthy work-life balance.
The social initiative aims to create a sense of community and is a great way to bring people together and encourage friendly competition.
The soccer team is just one of the ways that the Bulldog Group is encouraging its employees to get involved in social activities.
The company also launched a Green Committee which is aimed towards promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility, which will focus on promoting environmentally friendly practices within the Group.
They are tasked with brainstorming methods and implementing initiatives which will reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
